Jump-Start brings a new theater festival for the new year with dramatic and poetic works from the San Antonio community, Screaming into the Void Theater Festival: Pandemic Diaries. Company member and festival director/producer Holly Nañes says, “I wanted to offer an opportunity for writers to share their reflections on mental wellness during the COVID-19 pandemic, and then to see their work transferred to the stage." Each selected play or poem features characters who are struggling to either process loss or escape chaos.
