Screens Special screenings

Cinema Tuesdays with Texas Public Radio

My Darling Clementine
Dir. John Ford (1943)

Henry Fonda had already played Abraham Lincoln and The Grapes of Wrath's Tom Joad for director John Ford by the mid-'40s, so casting him as iconic Wyatt Earp, one of the West's biggest legends, was a natural. The result is widely considered the best of Hollywood's many retellings of the Gunfight at the O.K. Corrall. My Darling Clementine screens at 7:30 pm, Tuesday, July 5, at the Bijou at Crossroads Theatre. Tickets are $10 TPR members / $12 nonmembers, available at tpr.org or 1-800-622-8777 during business hours.

The Rage of Paris screens at dusk Thursday, June 30, at the Slab at Probandt and Cevallos, across from La Tuna Icehouse. Admission is free. For more info, visit saevents.org/movies/index.htm.
