SoFri Poetry Slam presents The Preliminary Bouts

For the first time in its 25 year history, the Southern Fried Poetry slam is in Texas, and the SA poetry scene is proud to bring it to the Alamo City. Teams of poets from around the country compete in four rounds of intense Spoken Word competition. Random audience members serve as judges as poets compete for a spot in Saturday night's Finals, bringing group pieces, duos, trios, and one person performance that will inspire you for weeks.
