Sorry, SA: Rolando's Super Tacos Isn't Moving Into The Pearl

  • Nope.

This Saturday as I was unwinding from a hellish week, I received a tagged notification on Instagram. I hopped on over to one of my favorite apps to sharing pics of apps to see what was up and was mildly bemused to find this:

Which means I had to email people on the Sabbath to verify that this wasn't just a silly, and downright cruel joke. I just received confirmation from the Pearl's public relations agency, Giant Noise, that "This is not true, Rolando's Super Tacos will not be moving into Pearl."

So can whomever @UrbanSanAntonio is take a break from spreading falsehoods? Stop being chiflado/chiflada. The idea of giant breakfast tacos at the Pearl's epicenter sounds fabulous, but it ain't gonna happen. Stop trying to make it happen (and getting everyone's hopes up along the way). Rude.
