Gregg Eckhardt, an environmental scientist with 29 years of experience, will describe San Antonio's colorful water history and the importance of Edwards Aquifer springs to the region's cultural and economic development. Dr. Mario Garza will share the Coahuiltecan's creation story and reveal how a 4,000-year-old rock painting documents the all-night ceremony of his Miakan-Garza people.
