SPROUT featuring Ricardo Miranda

House music collective SPROUT will end a successful year of events at La Botánica with special guest DJ, Remixer, and Producer Ricardo Miranda. The Chicago native has risen in the ranks in house music since his debut in 2006 and has had special projects distributed by legendary producer Jellybean Benitez (of NYC fame a la Madonna). His music reflects that wonderful intersection of deep house and techno, which are signature elements of the Chicago sound. Still need convincing? Check out the 2008 classic, Boriken Soul recorded under the name Yonurican. Austin-based DJ Shani and San Antonio-based DJ John Puga are also scheduled to perform featuring live art by JD Morera and Sessodd Geeski. Founder of SPROUT, DJ Kinn aka Rick Lara has worked hard over the last couple of years to cultivate house music in San Antonio. His focus on community events has resulted in one of the region’s most respected collectives committed to forward thinking dance music. With such an emphasis on both local and national talent, SPROUT is easily a top contender to watch in 2018.

“Absolutely perfect weekend getaway! We were worried that it might be too hot inside the tent, as both my husband and I love our room cold, but it was perfect around 70 degrees…especially in the summer. Bed was very comfortable and you could just sink in and sleep. I slept so deeply. It is a beautiful, serene place to stay and I could not recommend it more!” - Yelper Larissa I
