Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich's former San Antonio home is back on the market for $5.5 million

San Antonio Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich's former home in the Dominion is back on the market with a $5.5 million price tag, sales listings show.

Pop sold the 9,600-square foot home in October 2020, according to Bexar County property records. That means the current sellers owned the residence for just two and a half years before listing it three days ago.

Situated on a 2.6-acre lot, the dwelling includes four bedrooms and five and a half baths plus a two-story living room with a floor-to-ceiling fireplace and a wall of windows overlooking a swimming pool, according to listing details.

Fitting Popovich's reputation as a lover of fine vino, the property also includes a 600-square-foot temperature-controlled wine cellar made of reclaimed Jerusalem stone that can hold up to 3,000 bottles.

Despite the estate's lavish charms, Popovich had to slash its price twice before landing a buyer. In summer of 2020, he dropped the asking price to $3.1 million from $3.5 million. The coach first listed it in 2018 for $4.5 million.
