The popularity of RuPaul’s Drag Race has fueled a trend in touring drag entertainment that’s spearheaded on a local level by Rey Lopez Entertainment. In addition to importing alums from the Logo reality series and its spin-off RuPaul’s Drag U (hosted by the “Supermodel of the World” along with an array of “drag queen professors”), the one-man operation produces shows in Austin, Corpus Christi, and Laredo. On Thursday, Lopez’s cavalcade of glamazons marches on with New Jersey-born transgender diva Carmen Carrera. Born Christopher Roman in 1985, Carrera was a member of a polished Season 3 clique dubbed “The Heathers” before getting the boot and moving on to star in an Orbitz commercial, appear in a scandalous episode of Cake Boss, pose as a waitress on ABC’s Primetime: What Would You Do?, and model for a fashion feature in W magazine. $10-$15; 11:30pm Thu, Dec 27; The Saint, 800 Lexington, (210) 225-7330.
