Stay Current with the Pick of the Day: PechaKucha Night vol. 9

PechaKucha, a concept created by Tokyo-based architects Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham as a platform for young designers to share their work in a “20x20” format (20 images are shown and explained for 20 seconds each), turns 10 years old this month and celebrates the occasion as a thriving global network made up of 600 cities including San Antonio. The ninth installment to be hosted by the local chapter (organized by the Architecture Foundation of San Antonio) take a cue from Valentine’s Day with presentations by eight of San Antonio’s most creative couples: Rick and Angela Martinez (cinephiles), Joey Fauerso and Riley Robinson (artists), Jake Zollie Harper and Amada Miller (glass blower and artist), Kristin and Clay Hefty (architect and contractor), Paul Sartory and Peggy Howe (chef entrepreneurs), Kristy Perez and Britt Lorraine (artist and choreographer), Nicolette Good and Jesse Basham (musicians), and Ken Little and Cathy Cunningham-Little (artists). $5, happy hour at 6:30pm, presentations at 7:30pm Tuesday, The Center for Architecture, 200 E Grayson, Ste. 110, Check out our full online calendar of upcoming events here:
