You might want to place your summer BBQs on hold. H-E-B has issued a statement recalling certain H-E-B and Hill Country Fare brand breads and buns. While these products don’t impose any health risks, they do possess a yeast unbalance that might make for a cookout of less than ideal quality.

“H-E-B is proud our bread is made by Texans, for Texans and we are working to have fresh product back on shelves as soon as possible,” said the corporation in a press release.

The recall comes just a few weeks after both Whataburger and In-N-Out issued a bun recall, citing a similar issue.

All H-E-B related products, those with a best by date between June 26 and July 2, have promptly been removed from store shelves. Customers who might have purchased the unfortunate breads are able to return them to any store location for a full refund.

If you’re thinking this might apply to you, the press release includes a complete list of the recalled products.

For any additional questions, contact H-E-B customer service at 1-855-432-4438 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
