Still armed with the DeLeo Brothers on bass and guitar and original drummer Eric Kretz, STP has soldiered on after the deaths of both vocalist Scott Weiland and one-time replacement Chester Bennington of Linkin Park. Bennington was on vocals during the group’s previous Aztec visit in 2015. But fear not if you missed that one. Latest frontman Jeff Gutt looks, sings and slithers slightly like Weiland, which will come in handy as STP celebrates the 25th anniversary of its album Purple.
