When they're not getting negative attention for San Antonio from Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Fox's Daytime at 9 gets first sip of a tasty Big Red scoop.

The station's morning show reported on Ohio teen Eric Willford's peculiar senior portraits, which included a San Anto staple. Willford, from Columbus, Ohio, took a liking to the brand. Here's how the station put it:

Willford first realized Big Red was life when him and his friends "ran into [a] gas station and saw a Big Red 2 liter for 99 cents." The following day he found [himself] craving more soda. Like any true Big Red lover, Willford did his research and came across the San Antonio Barbacoa and Big Red Festival, but has yet to try the undeniably amazing pairing, "but it definitely is on [his] to do list."
The high school senior says, "Big Red goes terrific with a tangy BBQ, but I would take a cold Big Red soda with every meal."
The post goes onto say the teen also created videos and songs for Big Red (what like that's weird?) and the company has sent him some swag. If he got this year's Fiesta medal, we know a few hundred San Antonians who will be more than a little pissed.

Here are the other two shots.
