Telling Our Stories: African American Influences on San Antonio History
The African American Quilt Circle of San Antonio will present a Quilt Exhibit entitled, “Telling Our Story: African American Influences on San Antonio’s History.”
The Exhibition depicts significant time periods and people who have helped shape San Antonio’s history; showcasing events and people of the African American Community as far back as the 1800’s. The goal of the exhibit is to create a collection of narrative quilts which shares experiences that influenced San Antonio’s African American Community.
