Texas Parks and Wildlife Finds Alligator with Broken Glass in Its Mouth

The Texas Parks and Wildlife is warning state park visitors not to leave trash behind because it can harm animals.

Last week, the Texas Parks and Wildlife shared a photo of an alligator at Brazos Bend State Park that had a large piece of broken glass resembling a pitcher in its mouth.

Luckily, the alligator tossed out the glass before it harmed itself.

The Facebook post encourages visitors to take their trash with them and "leave no trace" as to not disturb the natural wildlife. Stay on top of San Antonio news and views. Sign up for our Weekly Headlines Newsletter.
