More bread is always a good news, and I'm sticking to it.

The Bread Box, formerly a bread-only bakery that supplies loaves of goodness to several hospitals, hotels and restaurants (including Rosella's milk and honey English muffins), will open a bakery cafe at 555 W. Bitters Road #115 at The Alley on Bitters.

The shop will open for breakfast and lunch with sandwiches made on fresh-baked bread, soups, salads and  The company has been providing breads across town for more than three years, with husband-and-wife team Lucas and Tina Kent kneading a lot of natural ingredients and Texan flours. Both SA natives, Tina worked at Cappy's for 17 years as general manager while Lucas baked bread for Lüke, Cappy's and Bliss.

The Bread Box will move into the former Bahia Azul space, a 3,000-square-foot eatery that's outfitted with a large bakery (complete with a massive window, which will let passersby take in the baking scene). The Kents are hoping to open the doors in late November or early December.
