The Cookhouse (720 E. Mistletoe Ave.) will host its first anniversary dinner on Wednesday, November 11 to commemorate being open for a year (technically, their birthday was this September). You won't want to miss this dinner because chef Pieter Sypesteyn is lining up an 11-course feast. The menu will feature items such as turtle soup with quail egg, marinated crab claws in tomato gelee, stuffed jumbo gulf shrimp, octopus with andouille and much more.
The event will begin with drinks at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m. There are only 50 seats available for this party and in order to reserve a spot you must snatch up a pre-sale ticket by calling The Cookhouse (210-320-8211). Tickets are $125 per person just for food and $175 per person with wine pairings.
