Adelante Winds uses the music of Valerie Coleman, Bronwen McVeigh, Stacy Garrop and Allison Loggins-Hull to tell the stories of six phenomenal womxn who have helped the empowerment of womxn across the globe: Lila Crockett, former San Antonio Mayor, Edith Cohen, Maggie Lena Walker, Judith Lichtman, Patsy Takemoto Mink, Ella Fitzgerald. San Antonio's Poet Laureate Andrea "Vocab" Sanderson brings her artistry of spoken word in collaboration with the quintet. Event will be in-person and live streamed. Suggested donation for in-person is $10 but any and all donations are welcome.
