Debuting on Diá de los Muertos weekend at the Lone Star Brewery, the inaugural two-day Mala Luna Music Festival will treat music lovers and hip hop heads to a lineup of both national and local artist, including Travis Scott and G-Eazy.
Made possible by Texas-based music promoters ScoreMore Shows, the final lineup is here at last: Bayou-born rapper Kevin Gates, Canada's R&B crooner Tory Lanez (who sizzles more than Canadian Bacon), so-hot-right-now brother duo Rae Sremmurd and Grammy-nominated sexpot siren Kehlani (check out the sultry “Gangsta” from the Suicide Squad soundtrack).
The top-tier headliners remain Kaskade, Travis Scott, G-Eazy, and Steve Aoki, while the full lineup also features fire 'n' fresh newcomers Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty, Jacquees, and G Herbo - You'll want bragging rights to say you caught them before they blew-up. EDM/hip-hop producers Sango and Lunice, legit Jamaican reggae artist Kranium, and Houston's Trill Sammy complete the festival squad.
Not forgetting San Antonio's home-grown talent, local artists IVY, VI$ION, Greg G, Mitch James, KWYK, and Phillip Wolf are all slated to perform along with two Network for Young Artists students, Chloe Delgado and Chase Sauer. From each ticket sold, Mala Luna Music Festival is donating a portion of the proceeds to benefit the arts in San Antonio's youth, aged from four-years-old to 20. The Network for Young Artists is a nonprofit organization that makes voice, guitar, percussion, keyboard and dance classes more accessible to under-privileged children and young adults.
Weekend general admission ($119) and VIP passes ($159) are on sale now and can be bought here.
