The Lone Star Beer Texas Heritage Festival

Lone Star Beer is excited to announce the full lineup of music performances, food offerings and activities for the inaugural Lone Star Beer Texas Heritage Festival, celebrating Texas music, Texas food and Texas beer in San Antonio (August 8), Houston (August 15), Dallas (August 22) and Austin (August 29). Each event is free and open to the public for ages 21 and up. Attendance is first come first served, limited to capacity. A limited number of tickets to each date are available today for those who wish to purchase a ticket for $25 to guarantee admission. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the ticket sales will go to a charity specific to each city. In addition to the previously announced lineup for the Lone Star Beer Texas Heritage Festival - including the Old 97's, The Black Angels, Grupo Fantasma, Dale Watson, and LaTasha Lee & The BlackTies - each event will also feature a performer local to each Texas city. The Only Hipsters will join in the San Antonio show on August 8 at Lone Star Brewery. The food offerings for the San Antonio event include Frank, The Box Street Social and Amy's Ice Cream. Rounding out the fun will be a range of entertaining and carnival-themed games and activities, including a mechanical armadillo, the cap puzzle game show, dueling basketball hoops, a high striker, cornhole, a photo booth by Smilebooth, a trading post with merch, and more.

Chicken-on-a-Stick
Fiesta favorite chicken-on-a-stick is basically the supreme food booth snack from all of Fiesta. San Antonians look forward to eating it all year, and usually commemorate their first chicken-on-a-stick of the season with a selfie. It’s inspired chicken-on-a-stick necklaces, earrings, stickers and more from local designers, and has appeared on menus across SA so folks can get their fix. Thank goodness for that.
