The Rustic Celebrating the Holidays with Tamales, Tacos and Tequila

The Rustic is getting into the holiday season this December.

From 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6, The Rustic will host its annual Tamales and Tequila event. Enjoy live entertainment, complimentary tamales ( brisket with chipotle garlic queso, chicken tinga with cotija cheese and pork carnitas with chile arbol salsa) and a new high-end tequila menu release. It's the perfect time to try Codigo 1530 Origen and Don Julio 1942.

If you can't get enough tamales, to-go orders will also begin on Wednesday for $19.95 per dozen. Choose from smoked brisket, chicken tinga, roasted poblano and cheese or pork carnitas. Tamales will only be available through December 24.

The festivities continue next Wednesday, December 13, from 6 to 9pm with the Hog 'N' Nog party. The Rustic will offer complimentary pork carnitas tacos, plus creations from the winter warmer drink menu. Selections include the grilled hot toddy, made of Real McCoy 12-year rum, honey and a grilled lemon half. Or go for the Rumchata hot chocolate, made up of FreeRange hot chocolate mix, Rumchata and Fireball topped with whip cream.
