The San Antonio Symphony presents British Classics

Forget the rock ’n’ roll anthems of the 1960s British Invasion, the San Antonio Symphony is paying tribute to a different set of great Brits — composers of classical music. Although the night’s playlist highlights several important figures in British classical music, front and center this concert will be Sir Edward Elgar, composer of the sprawling epic Enigma Variations, which features the recognizable Pomp and Circumstance, March No. 1 in D major, Op. 39.
