This Miami-style home for sale in San Antonio looks like the perfect place to sip margs by the pool

San Antonio's inner-loop neighborhoods feature plenty of distinctive architecture: Spanish Revival, Craftsman, Victorian and Art Deco, to name a few. But, while Miami-style bungalows were popular in the early 20th century, they never seemed to become much of thing in the Alamo City.

Which is what makes this 1939 home near Jefferson High School stand out.

According to its listing agent, the $485,000 property was originally built in a Spanish style, but its current owners undertook an extensive renovation to give it an airy, tropical feel that's oh so South Beach.

Large windows and an open floorpan give an airy feel to the three-bedroom, two-bath property. Its large exterior deck overlooks a pool that seems like it could have been dug up and transported straight from Coconut Grove.

Sounds like an ideal spot to sun and sip, whether you prefer a South Texas-appropriate margarita or — in a nod to the place's architectural style — a classic daiquiri.

This home is listed by Rebekah Avallone with DK Realty Advisors LLC.
