Tricycle Cart Brings Fresh Coffee to South of San Antonio

Next time you're taking an idyllic morning drive down Old Pearsall Road, you may want to pay a visit to Shebel's Rollin Cafe.

The tricycle cart launched this week in front of owner Sheldon Stanley's home on Old Pearsall Road between Hidden Cove Elementary School and Southwest Elementary School at 10996 Pearsall Road. Much like its brick-and-mortar predecessors in San Antonio, the cart carries espresso-based beverages such as Americanos, cappuccinos, cortados, espresso and iced lattes using beans from Estate Coffee Co.

Stanley originally purchased the cart four years ago, and worked on outfitting it for coffee as well as all of the permitting that goes along with operating a food cart.

Shebel's Rollin Cafe, a portmanteau of Stanley's first name and his wife's first name of Belem, operates Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
