Earlier this month, the Current announced Tucker's would see a change in operators with Andrew Lake and Nathan Azar coming in, along with a new general manager, Adrian Sarabia. A new press release now reveals Alexandria Davis, previously with Sanchos, will co-manage the bar.
Known for dishes like the Kozy burger and Frito pie, the kitchen will also welcome new chefs. Chris Durkin and Phil Carden, both graduates of the Culinary Institute of America in San Antonio, will take over the East Side institution's food program.
According to the press release, Tucker's will offer a rotating Saturday lunch, a regular Sunday brunch and a new happy hour every Wednesday through Friday. New menus will be released soon.
Tucker's is slated for an early December re-opening.
