Apparently, it’s the year of the music festival in San Antonio.

On the heels of Essex Fest and Taco Fest comes Sound of Summer Music Festival, happening Thursday, August 30 and Friday, August 31.

Brought to you by I-35 Live, a “Texas grown concert production company,” the inaugural Sound of Summer Music Fest will be located at Nelson Wolff Stadium.

The two-day festival will feature heavy-hitters from the world of hip-hop, R&B, EDM and Urbano Latino such as TYGA, PnB Rock, Chief Keef, Dej Loaf, Play-N-Skillz, Carter Cruise and Kelow Latesha.

More artists will be announced in the coming weeks.

“The most rewarding moments are those we share with our community of fellow music lovers,” said I-35 Live owner Ervin Lee. “Few things in life are better than the euphoric feeling you get when hearing the tunes you love accompanied by friends old and new.”

In addition to music, the festival will include art, food, local merchants and a series of interactive activities to engage in.

Eager Beaver 2-Day GA ($69) and Summer Dazed Eager Beaver 2-Day VIP ($199), are now on sale.
