Here’s a tasty dish for local fans of experimental/industrial punk music. New York’s Uniform, at the top of the bill, is a duo that makes post-industrial rock with synths and programmed beats in place of a live rhythm section. The project, from two of Brooklyn’s contemporary punk masters, has what we might call a bedroom-industrial kind of vibe. Meanwhile, ATX outfit Streets Sects will be on hand to deliver delicious punishment via its harsh and noise-ensconced brand of industrial punk, complete with requisite nihilism. Rounding out the bill by way of local support, the shapeshifting act Mutant, one of our current favorites, will ply its eclectic and brash style of art punk.
