There's another poke shop in San Antonio these days with the opening of Fugu Poke House at Dominion Springs Plaza.

Opened by Andres Castro of Uniko Japanese House at La Cantera Terrace, the shop is the one of the early tenants at the sprawling plaza with Jugo Juicery and 9Round Fitness.

The shop features DIY bowls in three sizes (small, medium, large between $8.95 and $12.95), poke burritos, poke salads and a few soups and larger items such as udon, lo mein and yakisoba. Signature Bowls are also featured ranging from $7.50 to $9.

The space features communal seating, swing seating and a patio for al fresco dining.

Fugu is named after the Japanese pufferfish, but none is served at the restaurant (probably because it's poisonous to humans unless carefully prepared).
