Parking at the Alamodome for the August 31 and September 1 Festival People en Español night events will cost no less than $10, and Downtown parking near the Henry B. González Convention Center (where the free day events will take place) can be a hassle. Thanks to VIA Metropolitan Transit, you can get to and from both destinations for free.
On Saturday and Sunday, VIA will operate park and ride service on three locations from 8:30 a.m. to midnight, and the last trip back from the Alamodome will run for 45 minutes after the end of the festival.
