Violet Femmes + Echo and the Bunnymen are Coming to San Antonio

Post-punk has made an official comeback into the mainstream corridors of music and we’re basically living for all of it.

On top of Depeche Mode slated to slay the Alamo City next month, Milwaukee folk-pinks the Violent Femmes alongside British post-punk stalwarts Echo and the Bunnymen have just announced that they’ve added co-headline summer tour dates.

Both bands will be making a stop at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, July 12 to ensure our summer will be as cold and dark as possible, (which actually sounds nice since this heat ain’t no joke).

Tickets ($45-$65) go on-sale to the public Friday, April 27th at 10am and can be purchased online at tobincenter.org, via phone (210) 223-8624 and in-person at the Tobin Center’s Box Office (100 Auditorium Circle, 78205). Box Office hours are Monday-Friday 10-pm and Saturday, 10-2pm.
