Tiny little hands are probably perfect for spreading masa onto a corn husk. Get those little niños and niñas into delicious tamales and how to make them at Viva Villa Taqueria (905 Dolorosa St., 210-987-8482) on Tuesday December 22 from 9 to 10 a.m.

The kiddos will learn how to keep this tasty tradition alive with chef and general manager Cariño Cortez. At $25 per child, the class includes a tamal-making lesson, tamales and hot chocolate to enjoy during the class and at home.

Register your tiny tamal-maker at vivavillakidstamalada.eventbrite.com.
