Oh, yes, poppy, lo-fi, garage, surf punk has been on the rise for a minute, and Wavves played a big role in bringing the sound back into vogue the last few years. Formed in 2008, the group’s sound continues to evolve like any band would, but it retains that kitschy pop vibe that we’ve fallen in love with.
