Restaurants are honoring military veterans with a freebies this Sunday, November 11. Here are several spots saluting our armed forces.

Applebee's // For the 11th year in a row, Applebee's will serve one million free meals to veterans and active duty military. Choose from a full-size entree of the classic bacon cheeseburger, 6-ounce USDA Select Top Sirloin, chicken tenders platter, double crunch shrimp, Fiesta lime chicken, oriental grilled chicken salad, or three-cheese chicken penne. Bubba's 33 // The San Antonio (7518 NW Loop 410) and Universal City (3136 Pat Booker Road) locations of Bubba's will offer veterans a choice of six entrees, including a classic cheeseburger, Bubba’s bacon burger, Buffalo chicken sandwich, grilled chicken salad, chicken tender salad or 12-inch pepperoni pizza plus a choice of any Coca-Cola product, sweet tea/ice tea or coffee during lunch, for all active, retired or former U.S. military. Dunkin' // The doughnut brand formerly known as Dunkin' Donuts will offer one free donut to veteran and active duty personnel on November 11. No purchase is necessary. Multiple locations,

Genghis Grill // On Veterans Day, all Genghis Grill locations will donate 10 percent of sales to Folds of Honor, a nonprofit that provides educational scholarships for families of America’s fallen and disabled service members. Multiple locations,

McDonald's // Veterans and active duty military personnel can redeem a free Extra Value Meal (like the Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Big Mac or Filet-o-Fish, and comes with medium fries and your choice of soft drink), or a Breakfast Extra Value Meal (like the Egg McMuffin or Sausage Burrito, with a hash brown and a small McCafé coffee) with proper ID during Veterans Day.
