It's 2018 and gas is being sold for less than $2 per gallon in San Antonio.

It's true, y'all. Drivers across the Alamo City are tweeting about gas prices falling pretty damn low. While some are hovering just over $2 per gallon, some stations, particularly the QuikTrip in Leon Valley, are a few cents shy of two singles. According to Gas Buddy, prices were roughly $2.17 this time last year.
The low prices are also causing some local drivers to wait in line to gas up.
The average gas price in Texas is about $2.31 per gallon while the national average is $2.60. The city's average price is $2.22.
