Carol Burnett
Comedian and actress Carol Burnett helped shatter the entertainment-industry glass ceiling with her groundbreaking and successful TV program The Carol Burnett Show, one of the first comedy variety shows to be hosted by a woman. She went on to a variety of roles on TV, movies and stage, including a guest spot on Mad About You that landed her an Emmy.
