Meat Week San Antonio

By San Antonio Current Staff

While we all know that every week is Meat Week here in SATX, this one deserves the moniker. A tradition started in Florida back in 2005 by a couple of bored coworkers, the carnivorous celebration has spread throughout the country, with chapters in 25 cities.

Part of the Meat Week experience involves crowd sourcing Meat Week "hype" from participants all over, and we find that these submissions really jive with our Texan palettes.

Check out the hilarious/ridiculous collection of hype then take a gander at the Meat Week San Antonio schedule.
