Release Date: 2007-07-11
Although these punk vets are now regulars on the bill, Bad Religion is still one of the driving forces responsible for the continuing waves of Warped multitudes. Reviews of the early tour dates affirm that they’re tight, tuneful, smart, and angry, still playing as if they’re one of the only bands that matter. VWT sticks to its ethic of no true headliner once again, packing the all-day affair with talent. Killswitch Engage brings a touch of metal to the tour, while other must-sees are Coheed and Cambria, alternative rockers Anberlin, and SoCal’s hard-hitting Pennywise. If you’re a first-timer in the Warped world, here’s your survival guide. DON’T: wear sandals, skip lunch (you’ll pass out), or plan on watching only the headlining stages. DO: wear sunscreen and a hat, hydrate, check out the merch, activism booths, and inflatable line-up board. $31.69. and
