San Antonio Natural Areas sponsors PEAK, Promoting Environmental Awareness in Kids, a program designed to educate children about the outdoors and responsible enjoyment of our shared public lands. It follows Leave No Trace principles, and teaches children 8-12 years old proper hiking skills, day-hike packing, and how to respect wildlife and fellow visitors. $3/person, $5/family, 9am-Noon, Eisenhower Park, 19399 Military Hwy., (210) 564-6400.
