Rock out at a concert fronted by women for women, benefitting the Battered Women and Children’s Center of Bexar County. On the bill are local bands Ledaswan, playing their dreamy blend of folk and pop, Kick It!, a punk/dance rock band known for their infectious dance grooves and high-energy shows, Elevision, sporting dark electronic trip-hop with a hint of house flair, and Mira Radar (right), an outer-space muttnik who formed a five-member band to comment on the world around her. Mira Radar sends messages “home” to her planet Muscovite through the band members, infusing the collective’s space-age music with visuals and props. $5/8, 9pm, Limelight, 2718 N. St. Mary’s, (210) 735-7775.
