Earth Crisis, Terror, Sworn Enemy, Shai Hulud, Down to Nothing, & Recon

Posted on Wed, Mar 12, 2008 at 4:00 AM

Release Date: 2008-03-12

With their new album Maniacal utilizing more melody, Sworn Enemy sounds more like a straight-ahead metal band channeling the ’80s legends. Raised on hints of the New York hardcore scene, they write dense songs with grinding rhythms and fast-paced vocals, but still make them easy to sing along to — not an easy feat for a hardcore metal band. $15/20, 6pm, The White Rabbit, 2410 N. St. Mary’s, (210) 737-2221.
