Immigration has been a hot issue for decades, now it finds itself the subject of a local art exhibition. Trinity University is currently hosting Eligible Traffic, which refers to the regulation of the flow of individuals across the border designated by the Department of Defense. The exhibit addresses issues dealing with undocumented immigration and the problems that arise on the U.S.-Mexico border. Eligible Traffic features the works of David Avalos, Margarita Cabrera, Yoshua Okon, Lordy Rodriguez, Gary Sweeney, and more.

Cabrera is a featured International Artist-in-Residence at Artpace. She’s Mexican-born and her works involve political and social messages.
