That spandex Luchador mask that you bought on a drunken whim a couple of years back will finally see the light on April 26th during Fiesta 2008’s finale. Deadbeat Hero, The Prhymemates, and Drunken Monkey Promotions have teamed up to throw down LUCHA LIBRE ARTSLAM!, a momentous art and music event with a deliciously sporty theme. Festivities include live art, Luchador-themed performances by Deadbeat Hero, El Marko, Fletch, Shaggy, ZA1U5, eats 22, MF n8, and more. DJ Scuba Gooding Sr. and DJ Tech-Neek! of the Prhymemates will take turns slamming each other in a battle round culminating in one of the funkiest smackdowns ever to take place in the Alamo City. Live musical performances by When Good Friends Become Strangers, A Faulty Chromosome, Ernesto from Kick It!, and the reunion of Wholesale Piracy will top off the evening.
