SAMA Soirée: Party on the Nile

Posted on Wed, Oct 22, 2008 at 4:00 AM

Release Date: 2008-10-22

If you can’t go to the Nile for Halloween, partake in festivities Cleopatra would have enjoyed at SAMA’s pre-Halloween, Egyptian-themed soiree for Say-Town’s young professionals. Walk like an Egyptian with pyramid building, henna tattoos, Egyptian makeovers, a film screening, and a scavenger hunt through the galleries. Complimentary food and drinks with Middle-Eastern flair will abound, and DJ Jester spins the tunes. Costumes encouraged — the best will be rewarded. $25/advance, $30/door, 8pm, San Antonio Museum of Art, 200 W. Jones Ave., (210) 978-8133.
