Halloween Disco Party

Posted on Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 4:00 AM

Release Date: 2008-10-29
Take out that white polyester suit hidden in the back of the closet and slick back your hair to boogie ’cause it’s disco night at The Mix. Suzy Bravo and The Soul Revue hit the high notes in a two-hour set of disco with classics like Michael Jackson’s “Don’t Stop ’Till You Get Enough,” Donna Summer’s “Hot Stuff,” Rod Stewart’s “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy,” and more — they’ve got a house full of amazing surprise guests sitting in on piano, keys, horns, and vocals. Jason Trevino plays a surprise costumed set, while DJ Leonard Spinnard (House Nation’s DJ Rise) spins a shakin’ load of disco-era boogie! Must be 21+ to see the mirror ball glisten. Free, 10pm, The Mix, 2423 N. St. Mary’s, myspace.com/themixnightclub
