On loan from LACMA, this exhibition is a vast undertaking, seeking to make sense of what came next after the polemical Chicano art movement of the 1960s and ’70s. The focus here is on the experimental tendencies in contemporary Chicano art across a variety of disciplines. Look for work by San Antonians Cruz Ortiz, Alejandro Diaz, and Jim Mendiola.
