Jonathan Larson’s autobiographical rock musical, tick, tick… Boom! tells musical tales of the playwright’s life as a struggling artist with Broadway-bound dreams in ’90s-era New York City. Notably, Larson’s Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning musical, Rent, opened off-Broadway in 1996, one day after he died.
