Works on loan from the Brooklyn Museum are amping up SA’s art ante. While SAMA’s To Live Forever: Egyptian Treasures from the Brooklyn Museum (on view through January 9, makes one wonder what sort of travel arrangements a mummy might require, the McNay’s Landscapes from the Age of Impressionism makes one wonder what we did to deserve such a grand visit. If you haven’t seen either show, hop to it. But if you’re looking for the perfect Sunday with Mommy, Auntie, or Gran, the McNay wins this weekend. In its 27th season, local chamber ensemble Musical Offerings blurs the lines between Impressionistic art and music with a program that pairs “many of the Brooklyn Museum’s finest works” from the period with works by Debussy, Ravel, and Faure — played by masters of the harp, viola, and flute. $15 for non-members, 2pm, the McNay’s Leeper Auditorium, 6000 N New Braunfels,,
