Critic's Pick Release Date: 2010-12-29

Pantie Oaklie and her posse of provocateurs are gettin’ busy ? and we mean busy in the traditional sense of the word. Hopefully the lovely ladies of Oh Baby! found plenty of racy underwear under their trees. Surely Santa rewarded the gals for the way they artfully toss their skivvies about. And they did observe Christmas twice this year (even though the first time was back in September in a dim, smoky dive). Will there be enough teddies, corsets, pasties, and fishnets for three shows in three days in three different venues? Find out when the case of the disappearing clothes continues on: Thursday at Bogart’s Cocktails (free, 10:30pm, 8323 Culebra), Friday at Tonic Bar’s “Black & White New Year’s Eve Bash” ($15, live music by the Jericho Machine at 9pm, followed by Ms. Oaklie’s Lady Gaga-inspired routine at 11pm, a Champagne toast, and a panty, err, balloon drop at midnight, and more Oh Baby! at 1am, 5500 Babcock), and Saturday at Dixie’s, where the troupe is in residence with a different show every week (free, 11pm, 8503 Broadway).
