Deciding where to go on First Friday can be tricky — time spent in one gallery is time lost in another. For mass appeal you can’t go wrong with “Small Scale Work for a Larger Cause,” SAY Sí’s 14th Annual fundraiser, featuring works by over 200 local artists. The show, which opens Friday, is a preview of art purchasing opportunities later this month. But keep your wallet in your pocket and enjoy the views; nothing goes on sale until the live auction February 25. SAY Sí offers free arts education to high school students, focusing on providing services to economically disadvantaged and inner-city youth. This year’s art includes works by featured artists Susan Budge and Mark Hogensen, along with pieces by Cesar Martinez, Jorge Garza (above), Veronica Prida, Paula Owen, and dozens more. We’ve got some generous art folk in this town; 100 percent of the auction’s proceeds go to supporting SAY Sí’s programs. For an encore, see seven films by SAY Sí students that have been juried into the 33rd Annual CineFestival en San Antonio, the oldest running international film festival in North America focusing on Latino life, held at the Guadalupe Theater at Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center. Free, 6-9pm Friday, SAY Sí Central, 1518 Alamo, (210) 212-8666, Exhibit runs through Feb 24; auction Feb 25, CineFestival runs Feb 3-6 at Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, 1300 Guadalupe St.,
