Critic's Pick Release Date: 2011-03-16

Among other treasures to be screened in Unit B’s backyard courtesy of Video Jam — whose motto is “We find it so you can watch it" — is the very first episode of MONO SHOW, in which visual artists Jeremiah Teutsch and Matthew van Hellen collaborate with filmmakers Mark and Angela Walley to “cinematically recreate the ridiculous ideas” in their heads. While you’re there, slip inside to check out All I Have to Give by artist Richie Budd, whose work was featured in Psychedelic: Optical and Visionary Art since the 1960s (San Antonio Museum of Art, 2010) and New Works 08.3 (Artpace, 2008). Budd’s CAM exhibition deals with “how wisdom is spread word of mouth” and includes four of his extracted wisdom teeth — presented artfully on pedestals. Free, 7-10pm, Unit B (Gallery), 500 Stieren, (312) 375-1871,,
