On Saturday, the Land Heritage Institute gives nature lovers and explorers a perfect excuse to spend a day in the great outdoors. Free (lunch and snacks will be available for purchase onsite), 10am-2pm, Land Heritage Institute, 1349 Neal Road (between Applewhite and Pleasanton, across the Medina River from the Toyota Manufacturing Plant), (210) 829-1737, landheritageinstitute.org.
